The mentor has already filter what works and what doesn’t work among tons of information available.

Learn from someone who already reaches the path that you also want to take.

True mentors have valuable experience.

They have the wisdom. They already have a bird’s eye view of what’s working or not. They have a mature spider sense on what will gonna happen next and thus, they can plan ahead.

True mentors don’t stop learning.

They believe that mastery is a process, not an event.

True mentors will be honest with you.

Frank with you. Tell you the things that you don’t to hear because he rather chooses to hurt with the truth than pampering you with a lie.

More than learning what’s working or not, feedback from a mentor, is the most valuable information you can have.

Why do we need mentors? Because if the greats have their own, so why can’t you? The next question is,

Will the mentor choose you?
