What Do You Usually Do When Waiting In the Line?
Do you check friends on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter,
Hoping the red dot will appear in your Messenger,
Or do you look around, find someone you know
Because being alone makes you feel anxious and blue?
Do you press the pods into your ear,
Listen to podcasts or music that’s loud and clear,
Or do you read your favorite book on your Kindle
And read the chapter you left in the middle?
Do you watch two lovers passing by
Make fun of their couple shirt, couple pants, and couple weird tie,
Or do you find yourself staring, wondering,
Why you are still single, “Maybe because of what I’m wearing?!”
Whatever you do, whatever you think when you’re in the line
Whatever your mood is, good or not fine
Waiting in line could be the best time
