I decided to “initial” market for first email marketing campaign which is Personal Finance. It has wide audience and have already a lot of competitors as well.

For this niche, I plan on creating a 7 day Email Campaign about how to manage their daily and monthly budget. But since it has wide audience, I am planning to target the young professionals, preferably fresh graduates up to employees with 2 year experience.

On the other hand, I continue my Copy the Copy Exercise that I initially started a month ago. This was inspired by Gary Halbert advice. But other than just copying others copy, I put some twist to it . I will analyze it. People in the call it “Email Teardown.”

For this exercise, I will look for the following points:

  1. Market Awareness — Who is it for? Most Aware? Product Aware? Solution Aware? Problem Aware? or Completely Unaware?
  2. The A.I.D.A. Formula — What area of the copy grabs the attention, share an interest, create a desire and call to action?
  3. Power Words/ Phrases — What emotional words are used? What striking phrases that jabs the readers emotions?

I will do this daily starting yesterday (September 4, 2018).

Since I am fan of Coach Allan Ngo of Digital Solopreneur, his email will be my new starting point.

Hope this Copy the Copy Exercise will provide the benefit I wished for.

See you!
