How do I know if he is the right mentor?

Identify the areas of your life you want to improve - personal, financial, business, relationship, whatever it is.

Look for people who has already achieve the things that you want. And spend more time with them.

But the cost of mentoring is high right?

Yes, if you will go on one-one-one mentoring. But I know that there's a cheapest way to have mentorship "indirectly" and yet most people ignore it - books.

The book cost less than Php1000 if not hardbound but it's value is priceless. Imagine a person who compiled all his thoughts, ideas, stories and wisdom into books. All you have to do is spend a ample amount of money to buy the book. A reasonable sacrifice that can change your life.

Take advantage of it.

If you are not into books or don’t have time reading books. There a lot of options. We have now audio books or podcast if you are a auditory learner. Or you can watch videos and interview. Among the other options, I prefer podcast, especially if the interviewer is a great interviewer. You can also attend live events if or watch online webinars.

Options now of having a mentor are almost "unlimited", figuratively. All you have to do is to look for it and take action and take advantage of it.
